FormscanBy Mark Nunan - A top-class renewal and last year’s winner GLASS SLIPPERS may show the benefit of her comeback third at Goodwood. The Dream Ahead mare has also scored at the highest level in the Prix de l’Abbaye and Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint and is a proven high-class sprinter who has no problem running up to her best when sent on her travels. Winter Power had Dragon Symbol back in third when beating subsequent Haydock winner Emaraaty Ana in the Nunthorpe and is a very progressive three-year-old. This will be her first time to race outside of Britain and, if that isn’t an issue, she’s sure to go close. Dragon Symbol has been consistent in top level sprints this season and, although probably more effective over six furlongs, the stiffer five at this track will suit him, while Wokingham winner Rohaan drops to the minimum distance for the first time. Mooneista beat Gustavus Weston in a Group 2 here in July and may prove best of the home team.
