FormscanBy Michael Graham - DIAMOND DAME could be the each way value. She won a two and a half mile mares' handicap hurdle at 25/1 in Listowel last month. She reappeared at the same festival six days later but didn't perform in coming home a well-beaten ninth. It could be that the run came too quickly for her but, if a line is put through that effort, she could be overpriced at 14/1. It is worth noting that a couple of winners have come out of the race she won - Mileys Dream and Hurry Kitty. She relishes testing conditions and, with Rachael Blackmore's claim factored in, races off the same mark as when winning in Co Kerry. Head Turner looks the one to beat. Ruby Walsh is back on board after winning on her at Ballinrobe in August. She won that handicap hurdle by a comfortable four lengths and has gone up 8lbs. She has to give plenty of weight away which could leave her vulnerable to an improver. Crystal Pearl slipped up when appearing likely to win at the Galway Festival and then fell at the last in Navan when held in fifth. She has contested better races than this so has to be considered but comes with risks.
