Just four horses got home on that gruelling heavy ground and Woodford Island was 35 lengths in front of the third-placed horse. With that experience in the bank, he should be hard to beat. Elliott took this race last year with Lord Scoundrel. Moylisha Tim looks next best. He has three career victories - one in a bumper and two over hurdles. One of his hurdle successes came at Grade Three level in Cork last November. He evidently stays all day and is interesting on his first crack at the bigger obstacles. He was rated higher over hurdles than Woodford Island.
