She's a right filly. She started off on 57 and she's improved away with each run. If the handicapper isn't too hard on her she might get something again. She's done her job. To win four handicaps in Ireland takes a big of doing, there's not too many horses win four in-a-row. In fairness to her she's a right filly and if we got a few more like her we'd be going alright. L.F. Roche, rider of Militry Decoration trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly throughout

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Gasta, ridden by W.T. Byrne, Betsey Trotter, ridden by D.P. McDonogh and Militry Decoration, ridden by L.F. Roche. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action. They were, however, of the opinion that D.P. McDonogh was in breach of Rule 213 in that he had failed to report at the first instance, something which may have affected the performance of his mount and cautioned in this regard.

An extended handicap for three yrs old only (90 = 9st 12lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 9st 12lb
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra; for each race won.
