Formscan By Mark Nunan - There should be more to come from CHIRAC who started in handicaps from a low base. Favourite on his last three starts, he was a taking winner at Gowran before disappointing at Leopardstown. Last time at Cork, he proved himself on good ground when second to a horse that went close off a 10lb higher mark at York on Friday. Johnny Soda got the better of Glitter And Glory by half-a-length at Leopardstown. The latter gets a 5lb pull, but Ado McGuinness’ runner scored a shade cosily and can confirm the form. Dervo Annie has been performing well and now steps up in trip while Vishaya is the choice of the champion jockey from Joseph O’Brien’s two handicap debutants. %0A

Quotes on Johnny Soda (IRE)
We were very, very close to taking him out. Adam got off Goal Exceeded and said 'I wouldn't run that chestnut horse. I think it'll be too quick for him'. We were humming and hawing and, the boys (Go Nutz Racing Syndicate) said that we'd run him and not to punish him if he wasn't handling it. We all got it wrong!. He is a big horse and he is quite a heavy horse as well. You wouldn't want that type of ground now too often for him. We'll probably get away with it today. Adam was good on him. We said we'd just jump out and we knew there was plenty of pace on and he did that. He picked up well and galloped to the line well. I think the likes of Galway could suit this fella. I think there is a nice three-year-old only 0-90 down there and that's probably where he'll head now.

Quotes on Golddream (FR)
Typical of ours, they usually do (step forward on second run). We were delighted with him, he was only a couple of lengths behind Jamestown (fourth-placed stablemate) who ran really well the other day (runner-up in Gowran Park). It seemed like a strong race today. He's a lovely horse and could be a real good horse. Fingers crossed he is as good as the other Grey Gatsby, Tokenomics.

Quotes on Glitter And Glory (IRE)
Glitter And Glory has been a model of consistency and, probably, her only bad run last year was in the Goffs Million which was on heavy ground. She has been so good up here and is just doing things right now. Seven furlongs is really her trip. She wants good ground and hasn't had a recent break, so I think if we get a bit of nice weather now we will give her 10 days in the field and bring her back for Irish Guineas weekend for a fillies' handicap. We said all last year that all the Lucky Vega's do is keep improving from two to three (years) and I think he is a sire that is going to have a very big season this year. It is great for the girls (Glamour & Glory Syndicate) to have a winner and this is our second runner of the new season, so it is nice to have a guide.

Quotes on Dervo Annie (IRE)
We were delighted with Down Royal. She’s improved a lot from her two-year-old days. Andrew Lynch rides her all her work. We thought we were going with a bit of a chance (last time) as it was three-year-old only, it’s hard to get those handicaps. Colin said after Down Royal that we could drop her back if we wanted. The man that owns her, Joe Dervan, is local, from Ashbourne. It’s his first runner in these colours. She just bumped into one on the day last time. Colin said she’s still babyish and learning her trade. She was still little bit green at the finish. He wanted something to aim at rather than being in front and having the older horses coming at her. He gave her a super ride, as usual. She loves good ground, six or seven. She’s had her win now so that’s great and we’ll enjoy today.
