he got sick so couldn't sell as a breezer but I always rated him highly. He has the Havana Grey-attitude, sticks at it and is tough. He still has more developing to do, he will widen and mentally he is excellent. I don’t have any two-year-olds to work him with so I had no level of form to go by, and two horses he beat at Bellewstown were beaten since. I had him in the Molecomb Stakes (Group 3, Goodwood) next week up until ten minutes to closing time but panicked and decided to come here, hoping to win. I had priced him to sell but only got one call after he won in Bellewstown so he is still for sale, although I won’t give him away cheaply now and it will take a bit to buy him. He’ll get good entries now and isn’t the type of horse whose form will fall off a cliff. There is so much more to come.

He is a fast horse, has lots of pace and had the experience,. Our lad has run to his mark and the second horse will probably go on to good things as well. Liam is connected with the English owner (Alison Jones) and rides out for me too. With the horse's connections, we could travel to the UK for races and he'll stick to five or maybe six furlongs. He is actually a bit sharper in his work than (one-time high-class sprinter and the trainer's) Maarek at times but is a chilled-out dude at the same time.

we would have all have lost a lot of money if we were betting on this filly being out first two-year-old winner of the year, but we'll take it when it is coming. It has just been one of those years when we’ve just had to be patient. She surprised us in Naas to be honest, she did nothing since and when this race reopened, we put her in it. I said it's not the right track or anything like that and I didn't know whether she would sharpen up or not for her debut run but we found out that tonight. She's home-bred and will go for the Marwell (Listed, Naas) now to try and rob black-type. If she gets black-type, then they can keep her on the team and breed from her, which saves them having to buy them.

It's rare you see Paddy Twomey training a five-length winner first-time out! A first-time out winner, full stop. She is a nice filly. She came from the breeze-ups and she was a nice filly there. She's been straightforward since. She is entered in the Lowther and she is entered in the Moyglare because I just felt she had talent. I didn't do a lot with her since the sale. She's come in, she's cantered, she's breezed a few times. She's not been anywhere. I said to Billy, 'I think this one is ready to run.' Billy just said that maybe she has a bit too much speed for the Lowther, but I think she'll be okay. It would be the perfect race for her. I was hoping she'd run well today. I don't really train first-time-out two-year-old winners that much, so it's very possible that I get them beaten, but I think she's nice. We have 50 two-year-olds; we actually have a very good bunch of two-year-olds, but she's nice.
