Naas Sun, 23rd Aug, 2026  Timeless Tale That was impressive and I’m delighted to have her. She’s a lovely big, strong filly and she’s all natural. She’s never been away from the place and I’m delighted with her. I think she’s a decent filly, everything she has done she’s done nicely. I’m delighted to have one for Tally-Ho. Her half-sister (Wakanaka), by Power, was a very good filly. She went on to America and was rated around 110. This filly has natural ability and we’ll see where the lads want to go now. It’ll be a stakes race and she won’t mind a bit of ease in the ground either.

Curragh Sun, 19th Jul, 2026  Kirkland Sioux She's progressing and gets the mile well. Very happy to win another one with her. How deep the race was, it's hard to know, but she had a nice light weight on her back. There might be something for her in Galway.

She came from the breeze-ups and she was a nice filly there. She's been straightforward since. She is entered in the Lowther and she is entered in the mile there (at York) because I just felt she had talent. I didn't do a lot with her since the sale. She's come in, she's cantered, she's breezed a few times. She's not been anywhere. I said to Billy, 'I think this one is ready to run.' Billy just said that maybe she has a bit too much speed for the Lowther, but I think she'll be okay. It would be the perfect race for her. I was hoping she'd run well today. I don't really train first-time-out two-year-old winners that much, so it's very possible that I get them beaten, but I think she's nice. We have 50 two-year-olds; we actually have a very good bunch of two-year-olds, but she's nice.

Curragh Sun, 24th May, 2026  City Of Memphis I like this race as it is a suitable one for the type of filly we train. This filly came from Katie Walsh as a breezer and, to be fair, the breeze-ups have been very good to us and I came from that sphere myself. Alan (O’Flynn, member of the family syndicate) said to target the breeze-ups from the get-go and he has been very lucky and is getting his reward. I actually had her in the Guineas in the winter (of 2024-25), took her out in April and then put her back in at the cost of €50,000, to get €15,000 for finishing fifth but thankfully he forgave me! She is a classy filly and it worked out today. After her Guineas run, I said that we’d leave her alone until her four-year-old year and I’d say she is now a Group One filly. She won’t go to Ascot but I’ll be looking at races like the Prix Maurice De Gheest, Prix Rothschild, the Matron, as well as the Breeders’ Cup Mile, those kind of races.

Curragh Sun, 24th May, 2026  Sun Goddess She had a lovely run the first day. We got her out the first day in case she was an Ascot filly and ran so well that that is why she is back here. She could be an Albany filly if she knows enough, but Ryan said she is still very green between the two and the one (furlong markers) but then she started to go again after that. We have Neolithic, who is a fair horse as well by the same stallion and this is a big rangy filly who will definitely improve plenty as she goes.

Navan Sat, 16th May, 2026  Matriarchal I was actually a little worried about the ground after a bit of rain - she actually managed it quite well. She ran in two good races and it just didn't work out for her those first two times. Today, we left her alone and she travelled away lovely for Andy and he didn't fight with her. She kept going. Every race she has improved, so we are very happy with her. We always thought a lot of her, she clocks good speeds at home and does her work really well. Every week is getting better for her. I think so (winners could come out of that race) and she has shown in her other races that she has improved. The other horses that beat her previously are very good horses. They are going to turn up in Ascot. Hopefully, she will keep improving and I think she will. She has a good mind and she will take plenty of galloping. She is just one of those very easy horses to train. Obviously, we trade and that is kind of our game at home. We are happy to keep if not (sold).

Leopardstown Sun, 10th May, 2026  City Of Memphis Billy said he’d like to drop her in and I said ‘do whatever you want’. She has a lot of class,. It was maybe trainer error last year, I stretched her out to a mile-and-four in the Ribblesdale and I’d say she has too much speed for that. I said to Billy that we’d start back at a mile. She had a setback after she ran in Ascot so she was just ready to start back when she ran in the Park Express and I thought she’d come forward well from it. I think she can step up to ten furlongs no problem but she has pace for a mile. Her new connections were keen that we win a Listed race before stepping up the grades. She’s done that today so I think we’ll be allowed to do whatever we want now. I doubt she’d go for the Lanwades as we have City Of Memphis and One Look as well for that. Two weeks times would seem very soon for her. I’d imagine a race like the Pretty Polly would be right up her street.

Leopardstown Sun, 10th May, 2026  City Of Memphis She’s a very good filly. We haven’t raced her much and I’m hoping we’ll make up for lost time this year,. She’s in the Group Two Lanwades Stud Stakes on Guineas weekend and I think the mile will be no problem. She’s a filly that will do very well later in the year, over seven or a mile. I’ll keep her to better tracks.

Curragh Mon, 4th May, 2026  Velozee Billy thinks six furlongs will be no issue to her, so we might look at maybe the Albany. She could go back to Naas in a couple of weeks and, run again,. She is a strong filly. She has had one bit of work since she won in Cork. She's uncomplicated and, I think she's good.

Limerick Sat, 25th Apr, 2026  Chablis Rock She handled the ground well and while she is by Sioux Nation, she stays well. She is a big, slow-strider and Decky kept it simple and she won well. It was only a middle-of-the-road maiden but she now has a winning bracket. You'd love to find blacktype at some stage with her but we'll go for a handicap now. She has the size and scope to improve. All of mine are a bit 'short' this year and she is a bit rusty. Alan (O'Flynn) buys these fillies to race, breed or sell, or whatever and the idea would be to win a group race. He gave a good price for her at the breeze-ups and she is a talented filly. She has the ability to do so. She is with us two years and I have ran her twice but we'll see how she is and I won't rush her. The Ridgewood Pearl Stakes (Group 2, Curragh in May) would be a very good race for her. We're hopeful she will have a very good season.

Leopardstown Wed, 15th Apr, 2026  Mixed Feelings She obviously had a good run last year, so you’d hope that she’d come here and be hard to beat, but you don’t see them pull lengths away from the field like that very often. I thought it was an impressive win and she looks like a nice filly. We could jump into a Guineas trial but she did still look a bit green there, so we might look at having another run somewhere before we go into a Group race. We’ll see how she pulls out and then can decide, but she’s a nice filly for the future. She coped with that going, but Joey said she’d be better on better ground. I’d say she’ll be versatile.
