Navan Wed, 7th Oct, 2026  Lilli's Angel Without a doubt. She's a filly that last year was doing all her work with the good fillies. My uncle Paddy bred her, and she came to me in December of her yearling year. I'd say she was about 14.3 - she was a handy filly, and I thought to myself that if she didn't get out for the first day of the season, it's all over. In fairness to Paddy, he said to me to take my time with her. She looked fairly set, but she took off growing. Every time I thought I had her, she grew and grew and grew. When I was putting the saddle on her there, she has gone into a very big filly. She's very strong and even Ben said it there that she is a different filly to sit on. She is by a very good stallion in Sioux Nation who can't really do much wrong. My uncle Paddy had a mare (Flower Of May) and he brought her to Sioux Nation in his first year and in the cheaper side of things. It is good for the mare and everything. She just took a little bit of time coming to hand, but patience is a virtue. For a filly with three runs, a lot of our work would be done on the bridle, so they never get let down too often. They do enough on the bridle. Ben said she will improve plenty.

Cork Wed, 9th Sep, 2026  Alpine Wedding She is rated 89 and I had previously taken the scenic route with her. She was drawn 18 of 16 at Gowran last week, but the only reason I ran was because we were running out of Goffs bonus race options. Today's race was the final one, and Paddy Hale (owner) worked with Goffs many years ago, so it was great to get E50,000 back. She is learning to race on the job, and I think she is a classy filly who will be a better three-year-old. Billy (Lee) thought she could run again this season, no problem, and there are a few fillies' stakes races for her. She's also in the Goffs Million, so that is a live option too.

Gowran Park Tue, 1st Sep, 2026  Quinta Girl It was overdue for Quinta Girl to get her head in front. She's a filly that we liked and thought she'd have won a maiden or something before now. When we saw this race and the conditions of it, we put her in. Reese's 7lb claim was a big help and he said that she's just in a different league.

Naas Sun, 23rd Aug, 2026  Timeless Tale That was impressive and I’m delighted to have her. She’s a lovely big, strong filly and she’s all natural. She’s never been away from the place and I’m delighted with her. I think she’s a decent filly, everything she has done she’s done nicely. I’m delighted to have one for Tally-Ho. Her half-sister (Wakanaka), by Power, was a very good filly. She went on to America and was rated around 110. This filly has natural ability and we’ll see where the lads want to go now. It’ll be a stakes race and she won’t mind a bit of ease in the ground either.

Curragh Sun, 19th Jul, 2026  Kirkland Sioux She's progressing and gets the mile well. Very happy to win another one with her. How deep the race was, it's hard to know, but she had a nice light weight on her back. There might be something for her in Galway.

She came from the breeze-ups and she was a nice filly there. She's been straightforward since. She is entered in the Lowther and she is entered in the mile there (at York) because I just felt she had talent. I didn't do a lot with her since the sale. She's come in, she's cantered, she's breezed a few times. She's not been anywhere. I said to Billy, 'I think this one is ready to run.' Billy just said that maybe she has a bit too much speed for the Lowther, but I think she'll be okay. It would be the perfect race for her. I was hoping she'd run well today. I don't really train first-time-out two-year-old winners that much, so it's very possible that I get them beaten, but I think she's nice. We have 50 two-year-olds; we actually have a very good bunch of two-year-olds, but she's nice.
