Curragh Tue, 20th Oct, 2026  Kodi Brown She’s an improver, it’s a pity the season is ending so quickly for her now and I must see if there is anything for her on the last day,. We thought she was nice last year but she was never travelling in her races. She was probably a bit backward. She’s come forward and she likes bit of ease in the ground. Finbarr (Walsh) was looking to go over hurdles, but I’m wondering should we keep her for the Flat next year. She did her pelvis mid-summer and it’s probably the best thing that ever happened to her as it gave her a bit of time and she has matured. Hopefully she keeps going. The yard is in great form. They are healthy, they are fit, and they are just better horses. She got herself handicapped last year because she was so backward and she just improved this year. They can show they are nice horses at home and don’t bring it to the track. It’s usually just immaturity and they need a bit of time.

Bellewstown Thu, 1st Oct, 2026  One Cool Bear John Ryan (owner) is a big National Hunt man, a lot of horses with Tom (Cooper) and that, and used to be a former Forpadydeplasterer man as well. He has bred him and it is great to get a win for the mare as well. He ran well in Dundalk and paid the penalty a little bit for running well and not winning. He got a high mark one day for being second, he went up 3lb or 4lb. That's hard on them. I said that an ease in the ground today would be a big help to him and he had a nice draw. He travelled well, in all fairness. He'll get six (furlongs) no problem as well, so it is great. He's in tomorrow night in Dundalk, we won't run him because we will carry a 7lb penalty, plus I think we are 4lb or 5lb higher (on all-weather). We will wait until Navan next Wednesday.

Curragh Sat, 29th Aug, 2026  Push The Boat Out When they win a maiden first time out, they have to jump up to this level. Little bit of greenness there during the middle part of the race. He came off it early, but Seamie got him rolling from halfway. Seamie was very complimentary of him, he said he was a racehorse. We'll get him home and see how he is, but he said he's still a little bit weak. He said he feels like a miler next year. Obviously, he's unbeaten, he's won his Group race and he's beaten the Coventry winner. Seamie mentioned Newmarket, so we'll get him home and let the dust settle. We'll enjoy today.

Galway Sat, 1st Aug, 2026  Faoladh We got his palate cauterised a month ago but he has run absolutely terribly since and we only ran here as the lads (owners) wanted a runner, as they were staying up. He ran on Tuesday night when he didn't stay and the ground was too soft, but was due to be dropped 2lb and I said we may as well run again. It was a surprise but is great and he isn't a bad horse at his best. Adam gave him a brilliant ride as well. The two (syndicate) lads, Donie O'Connell, who won two hurling All Irelands for Tipperary, and his friend Pat Leahy, are knocking a fair bit of fun out of him and are with me a long time now. They started off with (12-time winner) An Saighdiur and still have the interest, which is great.

Cork Fri, 24th Jul, 2026  Hanney Boy He is a fast horse, has lots of pace and had the experience,. Our lad has run to his mark and the second horse will probably go on to good things as well. Liam is connected with the English owner (Alison Jones) and rides out for me too. With the horse's connections, we could travel to the UK for races and he'll stick to five or maybe six furlongs. He is actually a bit sharper in his work than (one-time high-class sprinter and the trainer's) Maarek at times but is a chilled-out dude at the same time.

Curragh Sun, 28th Jun, 2026  Zodiac Bear Things are going well, we’ve had a great couple of days, and it’s always great to have a winner here on Derby Day at the Curragh. Fair play to Ben and the horse. He’s very consistent, he had a few little niggly problems but thankfully he came back. His last run was good. I’m glad Ben got a winner. He was looking at all the other guys having a winner in the yard so it’s great he got one today. I was feeling a bit pumped, it’s more relief than anything else because you know how hard it is to get here and how hard it is to get the horses here. Then everything has to go well in the race. It wasn’t the plan to make the running today but that’s what good jockeys do, take the initiative and ride them what way they think is best. That’s what Ben did today.

Leopardstown Thu, 18th Jun, 2026  Chipsrdown She deserved it. I nearly wasn't going to run her, only the lads are from Swords, in Dublin. I thought the ground was gone too fast for her. She travelled away there. We thought she'd win in Killarney one day and the ground was quick and she never rose a gallop. Probably the visors are helping. We'll step her up to a mile-and-a-quarter now probably as well. I'd say we won't run her on that ground again. We got away with it this time.
