Cork Wed, 11th Sep, 2024  Killeaney Bear We made the running in Galway, but it didn't suit and, while we didn't want to make it today, they went no gallop and we prefer a faster pace. He is a big raw horse, is 16.2hh and I think he will make a nice four-year-old. We thought he was a nice two-year-old, he always showed a bit and he is a racy looking type. He is improving all the time and we might give him one more run before the end of the season.

Leopardstown Thu, 8th Aug, 2024  Killeaney Bear I don’t think he handled the ground or the track in Galway last Friday. He’s a big shell of a horse and I think he should improve and be better at four. He had a hard race in Galway but bounced out of it. Monday morning he was cantering and I thought he seemed fierce well so I said I’d chance declaring him. He’s a big, raw horse and I think there is more to come. The ground was a bit tacky in Galway. I think he might go on loose ground. The sharp track didn’t help him as he has a big, long stride.

Tipperary Wed, 3rd Jul, 2024  Killeaney Bear He disappointed us a few days when we expected him to run well. He never travelled the last day in Gowran. He’s a big gross horse who seems to be improving and coming to himself a little bit. Hopefully we can have a bit of fun with him.

Gowran Park Sun, 16th Jun, 2024  Elinor Dashwood That was very good, she had come down a few pounds,. She was very free in Naas and I decided to put her asleep in the Curragh the last day. We learned a lot from her there over six, the way she came home. I said to Ronny today to put her asleep again today and ride her cold, which he did and she relaxed really well and looks a million dollars. She quickened twice, she quickened to get to them and quickened to go away from them. It was a class ride. The step up helped her, she relaxed a lot today. The Curragh can sometimes light a horse up as it's vast and open but she relaxed really well today. She'll get further and she might go for the big fillies handicap in the Curragh, if not we could look at Galway. She'll be well able to get the hill in Galway. We've plenty to look forward to.

Navan Sat, 8th Jun, 2024  Thunderbear He's a legend, he's been great for us and won a Group 3 in England last year for us,. He's actually developing into a nice sprinter as he gets older. He had been a bit disappointing this season so it was nice to get him back into calmer waters and get the win. Hopefully we can build from here.
