Formscan - True Promise has been running well in defeat on the all-weather, for all that he has become costly to follow. His turf record isn't great, though, so perhaps a chance can be taken on SHAVKAT. Successful on debut before a third at Doncaster when with Roger Varian, the son of Showcasing blew the cobwebs away for his new stable at Lingfield last month and is expected to step forward. King's Crown is back down to his last winning mark so is worth a look.
