Permission was given for Sugarloaf Lenny (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider 2 instances of interference in the home straight, involving Caballo De Mar (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Shepherd and Open Secret (GB), placed third, ridden by Oisin Murphy.
William Carson, the rider of Versatile (IRE), placed fourth, was also interviewed but found not to be involved.
The interference in the first incident, was found to be accidental, in that, approaching the final furlong, Open Secret (GB) stepped marginally right-handed, causing Caballo De Mar to be briefly tightened for room between runners.
The interference in the second incident was also found to be accidental, in that, inside the final furlong, Shepherd had to switch his mount left-handed, to continue his run and avoid the heels of Open Secret (GB).
On the run to the line, Versatile (IRE), placed fourth, shifted quickly left-handed away from the whip, causing Carson to take a check to avoid heels but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
