THE BRIDLES CARE HOME IN WINCANTON HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) An enquiry was held to consider interference between the third and fourth hurdles in the back straight on the final circuit, involving Twist Of Fatecatch (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Dylan Johnston and Calme Olympien (FR), placed third, ridden by James Bowen.
The interference was found to be accidental in that having jumped the third hurdle Calme Olympien (FR) shifted right-handed as Twist Of Fatecatch (FR) improved into a legitimate gap between Jukebox King (IRE), placed second, and Calme Olympien (FR) causing Bowen’s and Johnston’s mounts to make contact and become briefly unbalanced as the gap closed.
The winner, Geezer Rockstar (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Kempton Park, on 2 February 2026, where the gelding finished seventh of eleven runners, beaten by 43 ¾ lengths.
It was noted that Harry Fry could offer no explanation other than the gelding appears to run better at this time of year.
Geezer Rockstar (IRE) was routine tested.
