Leopardstown Tue, 3rd Mar, 2026  Generous Risk To be fair he’s not a bad horse. He had a couple of good runs in bumpers,. He was just being hard on himself in bumpers, so we said we’d go jumping. He’ll probably make a chaser next year. It’s not like us to go jumping a hurdle at this time of year, but he’s six so we said we’d let him rock on. I think he’s a nice horse, he had a really good run in Fairyhouse. He jumped great. He might go to Fairyhouse for something, and he could be a horse for Aintree.

Naas Sat, 7th Feb, 2026  Jalon D'oudairies He had good form; he hasn’t been the easiest horse to train but I’d say he’s in a good place there at the moment. I liked the way he went from the last to the line, even though it wasn’t the strongest race in the world. That’s our 150th winner of the year in Ireland. It’s another milestone and it’s important. The horses are running well, we’ve a good bunch, and Jack is riding out of his skin as well.

Jack said it was his fault at the last as he said he should have either taken him back or asked him, but I loved the way he came back on the bridle straight away and you'd have to be impressed by that,. We came here looking for good ground, so I was nervous, but it was either come here or to Navan or Punchestown next week, which was getting too close to Cheltenham. I don't think he could have done any more and he is very fast. Jack said the boot he has is unbelievable. He'll learn plenty from today, and even racing in a big field will do him no harm. He'll go straight to Cheltenham and he'll be way better on better ground.

Fairyhouse Sat, 13th Dec, 2025  Brosna Shine I think she’s very good and I’m very lucky to have her. Tony Kilduff sent us off to buy a nice filly. Touch wood, if everything is okay, we might go to the DRF (Dublin Racing Festival) with her for the Grade 2 mares' bumper. That’s logically where to go. Her dam is black-type in bumpers, over hurdles and fences. She’s massive as well so she’ll do any job, hopefully. It’s great to have one like her.

Punchestown Sun, 23rd Nov, 2025  Kotkito Bello I thought he’d step up for softer ground, and I felt today with 9st7lb on his back the ideal thing was to let him gallop and jump. He has loads of experience and is a lovely little horse. He jumped well and did everything very professionally. We can mix it as he has his chase rating and we’ll find novice handicaps. There is great prize money for them and it’s lovely to be able to come to these nice meetings. The Barden family have been great supporters of the yard. Oliver has been so good to me for 20 years and having winners for them is very special.

When he sees a fence, he just wants to go and jump it. He's very keen in that respect. As he goes up in grade, the pace will get faster and hotter. I think it will be all to his benefit. He has enough schooling done. This fellow was a bumper horse compared to a point-to-pointer which Final Demand was. He (Final Demand) would have done a lot more schooling in his younger days, whereas this fellow has been schooling mainly over hurdles and a bit over fences.
