Formscan - DOWN TO THE KID was a model of consistency for much of the first half of 2025 and has picked up where he left off, going close over a mile here before justifying favouritism over C&D. A 3lb rise isn't exactly harsh and he can follow up, possibly at the chief expense of Golden Pharaoh, who has been denied in tight finishes on his last three appearances. Giorgio M ended a bit of a dry spell at Lingfield just before Christmas and is another to consider.
