The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Not So Simple, trained by Norman Lee, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
Kieran Callaghan, rider of Rudy Catrail trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up
The Stewards requested a report from Robert Tyner, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Dangan Des Champs, placed first, as compared with its only previous run over fences when pulled up. Mary Tyner, Authorised representative of Robert Tyner, reported that the longer trip and the lesser standard of race were contributing factors to the improved performance. Having considered the explanation the Stewards noted the content of the report
