Owner/breeder John Keaney won with a relative of his top performer Yavana's Pace at Roscommon today as Poetic Sound (5/1) landed the District Speciality Coffee Apprentice Maiden for trainer Ger Lyons and jockey James Ryan. Tue 20th Aug

it's a super result, the horse is very green and will only improve. He wouldn't want the ground to be as deep as that. He'll be a beautiful horse next year, that's what we're looking forward to; when he strengthens up, he'll be a horse. I don't know how busy he'll be this year as it's all about next year. .most importantly it's a great result for the owner/breeder John Keaney; he owned Yavana's Pace and she's in the pedigree. We're delighted for William Flood as well, who stands Poet's Word as he is a long time family friend.
