Formscan - King Al has improved with each outing over hurdles, culminating in a triumph at Ludlow. The four-year-old is still open to further improvement and merits consideration, but WONDERING WHY is slightly more appealing. Ben Pauling's charge impressed when accounting for 17 rivals at Lingfield and there should be more to come. Ionian could figure if bouncing back to his Sandown form, while market support for hurdling debutant Road To Wembley would be interesting.
