uk CLASSIFIED STAKES (CLASS 6) (DIV II) Permission was given for Von Krolock (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.

Leaving the stalls, Rock Master (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed, giving a sizeable bump to HANNAH’S RETURN, unplaced, causing it to make contact with MISHY’S STAR, placed fifth, which in turn resulted in the winner, Von Krolock (IRE), having its quarters turned, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Rounding the first bend, the saddle slipped badly on a free running Mrs Potts (GB), unplaced, causing its rider to have very limited control and the mare swung sharply right-handed, hampering Star Of Atlantis (IRE), unplaced, which stumbled after galloping into the back of Mrs Potts (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Just inside the final furlong, HANNAH’S RETURN, unplaced, edged slightly left-handed before being quickly corrected, causing the rider of Rock Master (IRE), unplaced, to take a check when tightened for room on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Approaching the half-furlong marker, Galette (GB), placed third, which had been hanging left-handed, was corrected by its rider and became unbalanced, before shifting quickly right-handed, impeding Twilight Poppy (GB), unplaced, which was carried off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Galette (GB).

Following the race, Laura Coughlan reported that her saddle had slipped quite badly on Mrs Potts (GB), unplaced; the Veterinary Officer further reported that the mare had been struck into on its right-hind.

Finley Marsh reported that Star Of Atlantis (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference rounding the first bend, and that he felt the mare may have lost its action as a result; Adrian Wintle further reported that Star Of Atlantis (IRE) had finished lame on its right-fore.
