Permission was given for ARTICAN (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner ARTICIAN (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield Park on 14 October 2025 where the gelding finished ninth of eleven runners, beaten 7 ¼ lengths.
Simon Dow’s explanation that the gelding benefitted from the step back to 7 furlongs at a track that suits him, was noted.
ARTICIAN (IRE) was routine tested.
The Starter reported that Jr Climbs (IRE) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 4:01pm.
David Evans was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight involving the winner, ARTICIAN (IRE), ridden by Paddy Bradley, Red Mirage (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jason Hart and Dandy G Boy (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Edward Greatrex.
The interference was found to be accidental as when Dandy G Boy (IRE) crossed over to the rail when clear, ARTICIAN (IRE) became keen for a number of strides, forcing Bradley to take back and Red Mirage (IRE) to become momentarily short of room on the rail.
