Permission was given for Atomic Force (IRE), Democracy Dilemma (IRE) and Loom (IRE) to wear a red hood and go early to post and for Sergeant Pep (IRE) to go early to post.
Permission was also given for Alaskan Gold (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Democracy Dilemma (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at York on 28 June 2025 where the gelding finished sixth of seven runners, beaten 9 ½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Robert Cowell could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Democracy Dilemma (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Silvestre De Sousa reported that Baldomero (IRE), unplaced, was restless in the stalls and accelerated the gate.
