Permission was given for Fifty Nifty (IRE) and Royal Velvet (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Royal Zabeel (IRE), trained by Michael Appleby, ran without its declared tongue strap as it became adrift in the Parade Ring and was unable to be refitted.
The winner, Royal Zabeel (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Haydock on 5 July 2025, where the gelding finished eleventh of eleven beaten 21¾ lengths.
The representative of Michael Appleby could provide no explanation for the performance of the gelding.
Royal Zabeel (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Royal Velvet (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
