The Raceday Stewards interviewed D. K. Weld, trainer, in relation to his late withdrawal of his charge Spoken Truth citing cast in box. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that as he went to load his charge they found he had got cast in the box. Regarding the late withdrawal he added as he lived in such a close proximity to the track the non runner line had closed when they went to load and he withdrew the horse immediately. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the trainers explanation
