The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B. Aherne, rider of Our Story, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who felt he had used his whip within the guidelines as one of the strikes did not connect with his mount. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Keep On Dreaming, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Made U Look, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tired on the run to the last and he tried to pull up but had to continue due to a horse on his outside

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted.
