My first winner (in 2021) was during covid when they had bumpers for hunter chase-licensees and, while I'm mainly a pre-trainer, it is nice to mix it around with having a right fun horse like this. He is a gorgeous-looking horse and, since I've got him, we've ticked away with him and he has been lucky for us. We'll look forward to Punchestown now as he qualifies for the farmers' race (Bishopscourt Cup) - with Kildare being my local hunt I wouldn't mind having a crack at it.

Mr D. Doyle, rider of Magic Sadler (GB), trained by P.M.J.Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer confirmed Magic Sadler to have blood at both nostrils post race
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Welcome Back trained by Gordon Elliott had blood at both nostrils post race, possible as a result of its fall
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning out of the back straight where it appeared Last Round, ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, had to check momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
A steeplechase for ] Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won a race, including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing, and that have between 25th September, 2021 and 26th February, 2025 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland
