The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Cousin Kate, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Denis Gerard Hogan, through his representative, reported that a weaker race today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form
Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given
Paul Power, trainer of Kingston Fire, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had a bad cut to its off hind post race.
