Permission was given for Dicko The Legend (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference 1½ furlongs out involving the winner, Mumayaz (IRE), ridden by Rossa Ryan; Ben Y Bryn (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson; Dicko The Legend (IRE), placed third, ridden by Billy Garritty and Northcliff (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
The first incident of interference was found to be accidental as Ben Y Bryn (IRE) shifted quickly left-handed away from the whip, causing Northcliff (IRE) to become tightened between runners, which resulted in Dicko The Legend (IRE), who was racing on the inside of the three, to become unbalanced.
The second incident was also found to be accidental as Mumayaz (IRE) shifted quickly right-handed away from the whip, giving a bump to Dicko The Legend (IRE), who in turn bumped Northcliff (IRE), causing the gelding to become unbalanced.
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Northcliff (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference approximately a furlong from the line.
