Following the race, Tyler Heard reported that he was denied a clear run on multiple occasions on Blue Hero (CAN), unplaced, from inside the final two furlongs and John Fahy reported he was denied a clear run inside the final furlong on Too Much Trevor (GB), placed fourth, which also hung left-handed.
