Formscan - A Taste of Glory was thrown in at the deep end when finishing last in the Criterium de Saint-Cloud following his maiden success at Brighton. He remains with potential on his handicap debut, but the vote goes to AL AZD. Roger Varian's gelding looked awkward when runner-up over C&D last month, but the application of blinkers might just aid his concentration. Alba Gu Brath got off the mark at Newcastle and is likely to benefit from the extra couple of furlongs.
