Formscan By Mark Nunan - Second in a point-to-point for Sean Doyle, SPEAKASYOUFIND (10) has taken time to find his feet under Rules, but there was money for him at Clonmel last time and he performed much better when second to Global Skies. The latter followed up at Limerick which leaves the selection 14lb better off at the weights in their renewal of rivalry. Only For Our Man hasn’t been out of the first two since going handicapping and has been narrowly denied over 3m the last twice. Blinkers are applied to try and sharpen him up over this shorter trip. Absolutely (still getting to know him). I suppose he was drawn wide and was stuck on the wing the whole way and was a bit keen with Robert. He stuck at it well and he did find plenty,. First run for us over hurdles in Downpatrick was very encouraging. He was off a very low mark there today. It was nice to win with him. Absolutely (mix and match over the summer months). He's going to get a penalty but I can't imagine it could be too big, he's still going to be in the low grade.

we were worried about the ratings hike he received for winning the last day but he was in good form since that run and he toughed it out well today. He is versatile and while I wouldn’t rule out going back on the Flat, he definitely looks like he could step up further in trip over hurdles. Charlie Doocey and his wife Nuala (owners) came over from England this morning to see him run so this is great. They are originally from Mayo and their family is still in Ireland, and it is great that they have a few horses in training in Ireland. This is my first horse for them.
