Permission was given for Warm Spell (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Dorney Lake (GB) to go early and wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference from approximately two furlongs out involving, Eminency (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Doughty and Akkadian Thunder (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson.
In the first incident at approximately two furlongs out, the interference was found to be accidental as Eminency (IRE) hung right-handed despite the rider's best efforts, taking Akkadian Thunder (GB) off its intended line.
The second incident inside the final furlong was found to be accidental as Akkadian Thunder (GB) hung left-handed despite the rider's best efforts, causing Eminency (IRE) to be taken off its intended line.
The winner, Get It (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 14 September 2024, where the gelding finished twenty-first of 22 runners, beaten 16 ½ lengths.
George Baker could provide no explanation for the performance of the gelding.
Get It (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Akkadian Thunder (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
