An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend, involving Pearly Squirrel (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Laura Pearson and Fools Rush In (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Sullivan.
Billy Loughnane the rider of Zu Run (GB), unplaced, and Tom Eaves the rider of Enpassant (IRE), placed third, were also interviewed but found not to be involved.
Pearson was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she shifted her mount left-handed when insufficiently clear causing Sullivan to take a substantial check and lose his position.
