I don’t bet but I couldn’t believe what price he was and backed him at 25/1. We think he’s a nice horse and he won very well the last day. He’s still as green as grass, and Mark said he won more snug than it looked. He’ll have the summer off now and hopefully he’s a nice novice to look forward to. He jumps well. Noel Meade, trainer

The Stewards interviewed Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Fury Road, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Ms L. O' Neill was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) in that she used her whip with excessive frequency, and having considered her record in this regard suspended her for 3 racedays

Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. P.W. Mullins was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr. P.W. Mullins for 1 raceday
