Condon given careless riding ban

Davy Condon will miss the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse having picked up a four-day suspension for his ride on J'Y Vole at Cheltenham today.

The stewards enquired into interference between Condon's mount J'Y Vole and the Ruby Walsh ridden Poquelin during the Ryanair Chase.

The stewards were of the opinion that J'Y Vole had caused the interference due to careless riding from Condon and suspended him for four-days, Thursday 1st April, Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Monday 5th.
