Trainer Ray Hackett is dreaming of Cheltenham Festival glory with Crackerdancer after she extended her winning streak at Limerick over the festive period.

Fourth in a Fairyhouse bumper a little over three years ago on her only start for Jessica Harrington, the Robin Des Champs mare was then sidelined for over two years by injury.

She was beaten just a head on her first start for Hackett at Gowran Park last February and has since won three bumpers, including a Listed prize at Navan, and opened her account over hurdles at the first time of asking with a 25-length demolition job last Wednesday.

Hackett said: "She's been absolutely brilliant. She's a very straightforward mare to deal with.

"I think she had a hairline fracture of her knee before she came to us and Patsy (O'Brien) nursed her back himself.

"She's already won a Listed bumper so it would be nice to try to get some black type over hurdles if we can.

"I think there might be a Grade Three race at Punchestown in February and we're looking at the mares' novice (Trull House Stud Mares' Novices' Hurdle) in Cheltenham.

"You wouldn't want to run her on quick ground, but they always make sure it's safe in Cheltenham."

Crackerdancer is a 16-1 shot with Coral for her possible assignment at Prestbury Park in March.
