Stuart Crawford is looking forward to Coastal Tiep’s crack at the St James’s Place Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
The seven-year-old gelding won a couple of point-to-points since switching to Crawford and chased home Ucello Conti in a hunter chase at Navan earlier this month.
“We got him out of Paul Nicholls’ yard and he’s going well,” the County Antrim trainer said.
“He ran well in Navan in what I think was the best hunter chase run in Ireland (this season).
“He has good, strong, solid form and he would definitely have a live chance in Cheltenham.
“I think Ucello Conti could nearly go off favourite for the Foxhunters and he was second to him.
“My brother Ben would ride him at Cheltenham.”
