Harrington has big hopes for Summit

Jessica Harrington is keen on the chances of Summit Meeting in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The trainer knows a thing or two about what it takes to saddle a Cheltenham festival winner having scored with Cork All Star as recently as 2007 in the Champion Bumper, not to mention triple scorer Moscow Flyer within the last decade.

Summit Meeting, an impressive winner on his hurdling debut at Punchestown in November, disappointed when a leading fancy for the Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial Novice Hurdle at Navan.

He put that behind him when battling to success at Fairyhouse a month ago and heads to the Festival with solid claims, according to his trainer.

"Summit Meeting is in good form and he heads over to Cheltenham for the two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdle," said Harrington.

"We were delighted with his last win at Fairyhouse and it was good to see him bounce back after his disappointing run at Navan.
