Alan King's Invictus has suffered a setback and is now a doubtful runner for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.
An impressive winner of the Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot last time, Invictus was one of the leading fancies for the big staying novice chase at the Festival.
A disappointed King said on his website this morning: "We will monitor the situation over the next 24 hours.
"I have confirmed the entry for the RSA Chase but Invictus has a problem and at this stage there has to be a doubt as to whether he would run. We will keep everybody informed."
