Jockey suspensions

Paddy Brennan, Robbie Power and Tom Scudamore have each received suspensions for overuse of the whip at Cheltenham today.

Brennan received a nine days suspension for his ride on runner-up Captain Sunshine in the Perptemps Final in a race in which Power (on third placed Jetson) and Scudamore (on Close House) received two day suspensions.

Brennan will miss the entire Grand National meeting and is banned for March 28, 30 and 31 as well April 1-6 which encompasses the whole Aintree meeting.
