Sizing on course for Cheltenham

Trainer Henry de Bromhead reports Sizing Europe on course for Cheltenham following his easy win over Big Zeb in the Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown on Sunday.

De Bromhead said, via twitter, “I’m thrilled with Europe - he was savage and that's exactly what you want from a prep run. Five weeks now to have him spot on for Mar 14th!

Regarding two of his other weekend runners, the trainer stated that Starkie (bumper winner at Fairyhouse on Saturday) “might have a break now before looking at a winners’ bumper for him”.

Regarding Darwins Fox’s return to action, also at Fairyhouse on Saturday following a long layoff, he said “Great to see Darwins Fox run so well on his return. Just narrowly touched off but he'll come on a lot for that in terms of fitness.”
