Synchronised has been the money horse for today's Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup being cut to 9/1 (from 16s) by BetVictor.

Absent since landing the Lexus Chase – the initial Grade 1 triumph of his life - at Leopardstown in December, Synchronised will of course be partnered by Tony McCoy.

Paddy Power have clipped him from 14s into 10s.

The 2011 Gold Cup hero Long Run is the 2-1 favourite. Meanwhile Kauto Star, bidding for his third success, is around the 4-1 mark.
