Tidal Bay out of Champion Chase

Trainer Howard Johnson has stated his Tidal Bay will not be declared for the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase on Wednesday and is still undecided about whether last year's Arkle Chase winner will run in the Ryanair Chase either.

Tidal Bay cantered on Monday morning and Johnson said: "He doesn't run in the Queen Mother, and I just haven't made my mind up about the Ryanair Chase (on Thursday) either. He is all right, but I will make a decision in the next 24 hours whether he goes to the Festival or we wait for Aintree with him.
