War Of Attrition out of Gold Cup

War Of Attrition, winner of the race three years ago, will miss the Totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday.

His trainer Mouse Morris said on Monday morning: "War Of Attrition was found to be a bit jarred up yesterday and we've decided not to send him to Cheltenham.

"We had him checked out and the scans were clear.That was good news, so we will wait and run him next in the Grand National."
