Williams Very Confident

Christian Williams is "very confident" Neptune Collonges can shake-up stablemate and favourite Kauto Star in the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday week.

The Paul Nicholls-trained pair finished second and third respectively behind another Ditcheat star Denman in the race last year.

And while Kauto Star is currently the market leader for the 2009 renewal, Williams feels his partner, winner of the Irish Hennessy last time, will give a good account of himself.

"I am sure Paul (Nicholls) will have Kauto Star in better form that he was last year and over three miles around Kempton we'd have no chance of beating him," the jockey told At The Races.

"But over three miles two at Cheltenham I am sure Neptune Collonges will give a very good account himself, I'm very confident of that.

"He's in good form - I have been down to school him a couple of times and it went well. He must go there with a very good chance."
