Gavin Cromwell is set to saddle the leading Irish hope in the JCB Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham next week in the shape of Hello Neighbour.

The Harzand gelding is generally a 9/2 shot in the market for the juvenile contest on the final day of the festival.

He brings an unbeaten record into the race, with two Flat wins and two hurdles successes, and was last seen claiming the Grade 1 contest at the Dublin Racing Festival early last month.

William Hill ambassador Cromwell said:- “We’ve always liked him. He won his maiden on the Flat and went on to win a rated race.

“He has a mark of 97 on the Flat so he clearly has a lot of ability and he has a pedigree that always suggested that he’d make into a good hurdler.

“He’s a brother to A Wave Of The Sea and he’s a nice horse.”
