Willie Mullins issued a positive update on his Cheltenham runners following a Navan work-out for some of runners yesterday.
With stars Energumene, Al Boum Photo and Klassical Dream all pleasing, the Champion Trainer added “it was nice safe ground and they went around at a half-speed.
“Patrick (Mullins) rode Haut En Couleurs and Saint Sam, they jumped, and I was happy with those.
“Whatdeawant went very well, El Fabiolo was keen, Dinoblue went well and Capodanno jumped fences and Mark (Walsh) was very happy with him. Tax For Max was good, Ganapathi did a nice half-speed and Gaelic Warrior was good as well.
“It was a slow bit of work rather than a hard bit of work and we were happy and we'll see what they're like in the morning.
“That might now be enough for the early runners in the (Cheltenham) week, and the ones later in the week will get another bit.
“I am very happy with the way things are shaping up at the moment. It is so far so good.”
