Something Noble  I'm delighted with him and we were noticing in his work recently that while he isn't the quickest horse, if you hold him up, he has a bit of a gear. I told Eoghan to ride his own race, he knew they would go quick and I told him to take our beating if it didn't work out. He gave him a lovely confident ride for a 7lb claimer. Our horses are in good form, we liked the way he was going at home and while I didn't want to put pressure on anybody, we were just getting started today. He'll go over fences soon as he can utilise his four-year-old allowance and is a lovely big type. He is a Flat horse really but just doesn't look like one, and has now won two hurdle races. |

Moudan I thought the last run (fifth at Gowran) was a lovely run in a Listed handicap. . Eoin Walsh and Eoghan Finegan ride for me,and Eoin looked after him that day, but we felt we had to claim off him today. . The young man did a lovely job and I'm very pleased with the ride he gave him. . The horse hit the line well and he handles that ground well. Jumped adequately and he is still going to improve in that department. He is a late developer. He's doing very little wrong which is lovely. |
