Burns guides Galaxy Wonder to all the way win
Given a no-nonsense front-running ride by Nicola Burns, Galaxy Wonder made the breakthrough in the Follow Tote On X 3yo Handicap. Mon 21st Jul
Sam Coen rides double as Oiche Rua goes in again
Apprentice Sam Coen rode a double on the afternoon, as the Ado McGuinness trained Oiche Rua stayed on strongly from off the pace to win the Follow Limerick On Instagram Handicap. Sat 12th Jul
After race at Ballinrobe Mon, 21st Jul, 2025 (1st)
I have the most enthusiastic owner. He gave a few quid for the horse and he hadn't produced a whole lot until his previous run at Limerick, which was a good run,. Dessie was good and patient and I'd say the Healys will make a good few quid out of him there, he'll have a hundred photos bought!. I'm absolutely delighted for him and really appreciate him. The horse is a grand horse. I'd say he hasn't been the most competitive but the penny is starting to drop with him now. Limerick was a step up and he galloped all the way to the line today so I'd be hoping he's learning and there could be a little bit more to come. There might be another day with him. Nicola made it the last day with him as well. He just seems to be happier on his own. It's not something we really planned in Limerick but he does like to get a bit of room to himself and travelled well. He was probably a bit keen with the blinkers on as well, that's why he's really ended up making the running. We were drawn one so we said we'd let him stride on. It's not a good place, especially off a slow pace, to be caught further down the rail heading into that bend. When we had that draw we let him step on.
