So Young gets favourite backers off to a winning start
Willie Mullins unleashed So Young, an impressive four-year-old triple winner in France, to win the opening two mile four furlong maiden hurdle at Leopardstown by sixteen lengths. Tue 28th Dec
He had a wind op since last season,. The trip was tight enough for him as he wants three-miles ideally. He ran brutal on quick ground last year at Punchestown. Andrew said the ground was very tacky for him today but he handled it. He'll probably go handicapping now.
J T R Dreaper
He should make a nice chaser next season, and will have just one more run over hurdles. He's grown half an inch in the last few months, and is a lovely mover. He goes on any ground but should be better on better ground. He was a ready made horse coming to me as he won a point-to-point for Sam Curling at Dromahane,.
