She looked like she took a step forward from the last day,. Chris was delighted with her and just kept it simple. We're very lucky and grateful to have her. Michael and Bridie O'Dea are unbelievably fond of her and will get a great kick out of that. She might be capable now of stepping into one of those high value handicaps. The Rockingham is there but that's maybe a little bit far away and we might need to find something a bit sooner because she's in a wonderful frame of mind. She's very straight-forward to train and if there was something obvious and worthwhile in three weeks time we'll try and find it. We might even travel with her. That was a big performance tonight. I couldn't believe after her run the last day that 19 days later there was an 85 handicap and I was like 'this is perfect'. There was literally not one thing different to the last time with Chris, drawn one and all the same opponents. We just felt as if all our ducks were in a row today and they were, probably more than I expected. We put the tongue-tie back on her. The reason I ran her without the last day is that I like to run them all with a blank slate. Chris felt she would benefit from it but I don't think you could put it all down to the tongue-tie. She seems to have just naturally come forward.

She did it very well and Ben gave her a brilliant ride, he's well worth his 10lb claim,. She's a bit of a specialist around here and the handicapper, in fairness to him, gave her a bit of a chance. Hopefully he's not to hard on her now again. She drifted around a little bit and Ben put his stick down and straightened her up and got her back going again. He's a very good rider. We'll stay going for the winter and we'll try and get another one before Dundalk is out, once the handicapper is not too hard.
Mark Fahey
I only have her a couple of weeks and don't know too much about her but Conor (Hoban) knows her well. We just freshened her up and brought her down here to see how we got on and sure we got a good result out of it. She did it nicely but where we go next, I haven't a clue!
Mark Fahey
We found she was in season when we got here,. The last night here was a dreadful night and she is a bit timid. If you let her out in the field and there was drizzly ran she'd turn and come back in with you. In saying that it was probably her best ever run as they broke the track record and it was nearly a second-and-a-half quicker than when she won. I was told when I got her that she wouldn't handle sand and she's won three now. I've been backing off her a little bit to get her ready for the grass season but she wants the ground quick. All the horses have been running well and are in good form. I have a lovely bunch of horses for the coming season once the ground dries up. She could be competitive in some of those big handicaps.
S J Mahon
I can't understand how she's that price as she's beaten them before. She was a bit stiff after she ran here the last night. Joanna Morgan was the making of me as she got me a job with Matty McCormack when I was 19. He was the best trainer I ever worked for, and he could get a donkey to win a seller. We were drawn wide tonight and she jumped smart which is a trick I learned from Matty. He was great at getting his two-year-olds to get out quick. She loves to have something coming at her and kept on really well.
S J Mahon
I wasn't surprised and I backed her here at 50/1. She got 10lb for her first run (for me) here, and then got a bad mud-rash and I probably shouldn't have run her at the Curragh. The last day her race was over after 100 yards when she got badly squeezed early but ran on again at the finish. She's a good little filly, and is really my only Flat horse. Training Flat horses is easy but my heart is really in the jumpers. He Rock's has three miles further (than this race) to go on Sunday (in the Porterstown Handicap Chase) at Fairyhouse. He got murdered by my own horse the last day at Galway but has come out of the race well. I was disappointed he didn't get into the Troytown at Navan last Sunday (when first reserve) but that's the way things go.
S J Mahon
