It's a great day and it's great to do it at my local track. I rode a treble here before. They are healthy now but were under the weather earlier in the year. It's a team job and I have brilliant staff. Hopefully they will keep healthy and keep going. I own half of this one myself. Johnny Burke from Sligo is the other man involved (in the Two Plus Two Syndicate).

He had been knocking on the door up until Tipperary. He was very consistent without getting his head in front. I would have been disappointed today had he been beaten. Brian said he probably got there a bit too soon on him but we came out the right side of it anyway. Hopefully he will keep progressing and he will probably keep going for the summer.
J R Barry
He won his bumper and then was placed in this race last year but you wouldn't believe it would take him 12 months to win again!. He has been consistent though and never runs a bad race. Brian gave him a great ride as he can be difficult and quite keen. He galloped the whole way to the line today though. We'll tip away with him for the summer as he goes on nice ground.
J R Barry
He'd two good runs in the autumn but pulled a muscle after Galway and we stood him in for six weeks and only brought him back around Christmas time. He's always been promising and has been working well. Regardless of whether he won today or not, we were going to leave him off after this for the summer.
