Uncle Taffy for trainer Tony Martin and jockey Ruby Walsh took the opening race on the card at Cork this evening, the corkracecourse.ie Handicap Hurdle. Fri 27th May
He enjoys good ground but I thought Admiral Barry would be a tough one to take on. Before we decide anything we'll take him home and make sure he's okay. We'll then make plans for him in a week or two. He could go for a mile and six furlongs race on the Flat.

I thought it might be asking him a bit too much coming out so soon,. It's great for the lads (Plenty of Spock Syndicate) who are from a GAA club in Dunboyne. He's entered at Perth on Sunday but we'll give him a break now. It'll be at least three weeks before he runs again.
